要約(日本語): In this paper we would like to describe the speech speed control from
the viewpoints that is used for linguistic learning and becomes to
listening support system for aged people.
The speech signals are analyzed by hierarchical Cascaded Integrator
Comb(CIC) filter. An envelope modulation and instantaneous frequency of
the band-pass signal are modificated. The proposed approach is based on the vocoder, but we don't need to take into account the extraction of the parts of vowels and the smoothed connection between the vowels and the consonants.
The proposed approach does not need the multipliers except for the modulation process.
In the analysis stage, the envelopes of band-pass signals are extracted
by the equivalent filter bank. In the synthesis process, these parameters are used to control an amplitude and a phase of sine-wave oscillators. Our method is implemented using an equivalent band-pass filter with a simple structure.
