要約(日本語): This paper presents a coordinated control system in order to reduce the impact of the intermittent outputs of renewable sources, such as solar, wind and tidal power, on the electricity quality of the future Kitami City’s smart grid.
The available renewable sources in the city can supply a high percentage of its demand in the near future. In order to achieve this, a control system for the optimal operation of generating units and storage devices, in order to keep the current electricity quality and to reduce the dependence on the local utility, is proposed.
The proposed control scheme reduces considerably the impacts of the oscillating power outputs keeping the electrical parameters inside the limits and reducing substantially the amount of energy supplied by the local utility.
