要約(日本語): In this paper, we introduce origami-type transformable robots, which have mobility capability, deformation capability and transporting capacity. In the pasts, many types of transformable robots were proposed. However, their structures were complicated and their sizes were relatively big. To solve the problems, we pay attention to origami, which is traditional Japanese art. By using the structures of origami, we achieve transformation from 2 dimensional sheet to 3 dimensional structures, and can miniaturize the system size of robots. Some experiments were conducted to check the ability of the developed robots, and we confirmed their potential as transformable robots.
