要約(日本語): In this preliminary study, we propose color-based visual stimulation in order to investigate effect of visual attention and complexity of visual stimulus on P300 response. Nine healthy volunteers participated in our experiment, and their brain signals were recorded by single channel electroencephalography (EEG). Using three basic measures referred to as 'on-peak', 'peak-to-peak' and 'short time energy' for comparison of the P300 response among participants, we found that visual attention significantly enhance the P300 response. However, we cannot found any effect of complexity on the P300 response in this experiment. Based on preliminary results, it might be possible to implement this findings to engineering applications.
