要約(日本語): 多くの研究者によって音響情報から，正常と異常とを判断する方法が提案されている。しかしながら，異常と判断される状態の中でも，直ちに運転を停止するべきものもあれば，速度を落とすなど他の対処を行うことで運転を継続できるものもある。このため，正常と異常を判断するだけでなく，異常原因を診断することが有用になることもある。そこで，本研究では，ギアボックス内の歯車に異常がある場合，どの歯に原因があるか特定することを目的とする。

要約(英語): This paper proposes the fault detection method by the sound information. First, some numerical models are obtained by the prepared data corresponding to the some failure causes. Next, running data is employed for all models, and each modeling error are calculated. The model which has the minimum modeling error is selected as the property of this data. The utility of this proposed method is evaluated by experimental results.
