要約(日本語): Usng highly-oriented pillared structure as a template, nanopatterns of cup stack carbon nanotubes (CSCNT) have been fabricated by wet techniques. In order to add optical functionality to CSCNT, the authors tried to attach Congo Red (CR) molecules to the surface of CSCNT, which was known as fluorescence molecule. CSCNT was dispersed by CR contained solution. Using this solution, the authors made a thin CSCNT film on the nanostructured Al surfaces by wet technique. A network structure of CSCNT was formed on the surface. This network pattern showed strong PL emission. This PL functionality attributed to the binding of CR to the CSCNT surface. XPS and Raman spectra supported this CR-CSCNT binding.
