要約(日本語): This paper reports hardware/software education through processor design laboratory. Recent advanced CMOS technology allow a engineer to design high performance and high functional systems, and many professional engineers are required. There fore, universities are desired to train engineers to design such complex system. However, most recent students have a little motivation to study fundamentals of hardware and electric circuits to design such advanced products. This paper try to find the cause of a lack of motivation and makes trials to increase and keep student's motivation.
