要約(日本語): In this paper, the improvement of spectacle type obstacle detection system to detect the obstacle at upper body for visually impaired person is described. The development of spectacle type obstacle detection system by using 4 pieces of ultrasonic sensors to detect front, down, left and right direction is done previously. However, a spectacle which is developed was heavy and the audio warning system also confused the user. Hence, the improvement of spectacle type by using only 2 pieces ultrasonic sensor to detect the obstacle for front, left and right is proposed. Down sensor is excluded since the area is covered by cane. The warning method to warn the user also changed to beep; vibration and LED. It can make the partial blind identify the obstacle and be identified by people around them.
