要約(日本語): Mixing of convective layer of wet plating greatly influence on the plating quality. Role of vorticity and turbulent energy as mixing indicator was investigated experimentally using jet flow mixing in the Hull Cell chamber for wet plating. Dynamic PIV was utilized to investigate these parameters for mixing strength and affected area of general wet plating. Actual wet plating was also conducted using identical Hull Cell chamber to investigate the influence of mixing strength on plating quality. Turbulent energy proportionally increases its strength as flow rate increase while increase of vorticity strength seems to saturate at higher flow rate. It seems minimum value of vorticity and turbulent energy may be important for quality plating.
