要約(日本語): In this paper, we formulate a new definition for single-objective optimization problem and propose Firefly Algorithm-based optimization method for the formulated problem. The formulated problem requires a set of local optima with evaluation values better than a certain level and the distances between each local optimum are farther than a certain distance (the superior solution set). In other words, the superior solution set meets the aspiration level of the user and has diversity.In addition, the Firefly Algorithm-based optimization method was developed based on an analysis of the Firefly Algorithm search mechanism. Finally, the performance of the developed method was verified by comparison of developed method with Firefly Algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization.
