要約(日本語): The objective of this paper is to examine the causes of preventing novice programming learner's understanding from the programming education of reading source codes. The authors developed a learning support system for source code reading. The developed system was utilized in a programming lecture for novice programmer. This paper obtained student responses from a questionnaire and the learning log data after the students had completed one semester of the instruction in programming, and analyzed these data. The analysis result clarified the description which may make program reading comprehension difficult for programming beginners.
