要約(日本語): This paper presents a design of novel high-performance mm-wave bandpass filters using metallic-photonic-crystal point-defect resonators (M-PhC PDRs). Firstly, the bandgap structure of the proposed M-PhC is calculated as well as the mode chart of the monopole-mode point-defect resonator. Secondly, several bandpass filters consisting of multistage of M-PhC point-defect resonators are synthesized using coupling matrix method. Furthermore, the microstrip-line-excitation is used to realize the filter. The designed BPFs are then simulated, fabricated and measured. The measurement results are in good agreement with the theoretical ones, which confirms the validity of the proposed filter structures and design approach.
