要約(日本語): We introduce a new algorithm for deriving the continued fraction from a given transfer function using self-adjoint Lanczos algorithm. A Cauer equivalent circuit is directly synthesized from the system equation by this method because the continued fraction corresponds to the Cauer circuit. In the conventional method based on the Pad? via Lanczos algorithm, the transfer function is approximately represented by the rational function. Therefore, to obtain the Cauer circuit, it is necessary to compute the continued fraction expansion of the rational function. Using the proposed method, the Cauer circuit can be synthesized directly from the system equation. In the presentation, we discuss application of the proposed method to the finite element equation of electromagnetic fields.
