要約(日本語): The one-dimensional cutting stock problem (1DCSP) is one of the problems occurred in many industries such as metal industry. The definition of 1DCSP is to cut one-dimensional longer objects into shorter items to satisfy the demand which minimize trim-loss. If leftover that is cut off from the objects is longer than threshold and could be used again in the future, it is called usable leftover (UL). By concerning this situation into the constraints, this cutting problem is called 1DCSP with usable leftovers (1DCSPUL). On the other hand, maintaining UL also creates another problem when the UL generated are more than UL usage. This causes high level of amount of UL in the stock which grants higher inventory cost. The main objective is to consider UL in the stock as one of the main constraint.
