要約(日本語): This paper presents a self-feeding robotic arm system for people with severe disabilities. We made a robotic arm with 7 degrees of freedom, and executed a motion to reach out food on a dish, to pick some up with a spoon and to bring it to user’s mouth. From experimental results, it is found that the robotic arm can convey it to the able-bodied experimental subject.
