要約(英語): Discovery and development of new dielectric and conducting organic materials has attracted much interest in electronics. A variety of new ideas, methods and techniques to utilize new organic materials have been developed. Recent progress in this field is very rapid, and studies of Organic devices are very active all over the world. However the understanding of performance of these organic devices is still not sufficient, owing to the dielectric nature of materials used therein. In other words, ideas and knowledge from the research field of electrical insulation engineering is useful. In this short-review, recent research trend in dielectric and conducting organic materials electronics is discussed on the basis of the author’s on-going study, being carried out from dielectric physics approach.
