要約(日本語): Transmission surface plasmon resonance (TSPR) is a phenomenon involving an extraordinary transmission of light through plasmonic metal-coated nanohole arrays and grating structures. The enhanced electric field associated with TSPR is highly sensitive to the local dielectric condition at the metal interface and can be observed by conventional spectroscopy and imaging technique. In this work, a camera coupled with liquid crystal tunable filters was adopted for recording TSPR signal provided from silver-coated grating substrate. The TSPR images and TSPR intensities of silver-coated grating substrate at a wavelength of 720 nm (with TSPR) compared with those at 650 nm (without TSPR). With TSPR phenomenon, the maximum transmission intensity was observed at an incident angle of 35o and was greater than that at 650 nm by a factor as large as 9.7. As the sensitive change of TSPR signal based on surface plasmon resonance phenomenon, TSPR imaging technique could be employed for monitor the change of dielectric layer on the metal surface and further developed to be a powerful sensing system.
