要約(日本語): The attenuated total reflection method utilizing surface plasmon (SP) excitation, that is, the SP resonance (SPR) technique is quite useful for evaluation of organic thin films and applications to the organic devices and sensors.In this paper, metallic gratings are used for the excitation of the SPR, and the peaks induced by the SPR are observed in the transmitted light spectra. Then, the intensity and the wavelength of the SPR peaks were used for the transmission SPR (TSPR) measurements, and the application to high-sensitivity sensors of nanostructured organic thin films on metallic gratings utilizing the TSPR is reported.
