要約(日本語): When the SF6 used as an insulator in gas-insulated switchgear is exposed to an electrical discharge, it will dissociate and recombine to produce decomposition products. In our previous studies, the authors have found that the Carbon tetrafluoride (CF4), one of the decomposition products, responses of several kinds of sensors showed very low responses for direct detection. In this study, the authors proposed the new method to detect CF4 by generating decomposition gases of CF4/SF6 instead. The variation of concentration of CF4 was investigated under the partial discharge phenomenon for generating decomposition gases of CF4/SF6 gas mixture by the SnO2 gas sensor fabricated by dielectrophoresis. It was found that after exposed the sampling decomposition gas to the sensor, when the concentration of CF4 was increased by more than 3%, the responses of the sensor were extremely increased.
