要約(英語): A new gain enhancement technique for an operational ampli?er (opamp) using a replica ampli?er is presented to reduce a sensitivityof a gain mismatch between the main ampli?er and the replica ampli?erwhich limits a gain-enhancement factor in the conventional replica-amptechniques. In the proposed technique, the replica ampli?er is used to onlyamplify an error voltage of the main ampli?er. The outputs of the mainampli?er and the replica ampli?er are added to cancel the error voltageof the main ampli?er. The proposed technique can also achieve a higheroutput voltage swing because the replica ampli?er ampli?es only the er-ror voltage. In case of using a fully-di ? erential common-source opamp forthe main ampli?er and a telescopic opamp for the replica ampli?er, MonteCarlo simulation at 100 iterations shows that the proposed ampli?er has al-most the same gain variation with 15.5 dB gain enhancement and about ?vetimes output voltage swing expanding for a supply voltage of 1.2 V com-pared with the single closed-loop ampli?er using the telescopic opamp.
