However, it is expected that the electric power quality will be declined by the accidents such as the lightning damage, voltage drop and frequency variation caused by introducing the large amount of distributed power supply. As the countermeasure, the circuit breaker which is the essence of stable electric power supply needs to improve the performance. In this paper, the temperature and radiation distribution affected by the electrical conductivity and radiation power with the metal vapor in the wall stabilized arc were elucidated. As a result, the arc column with metal vapor was larger than that with Ar(100%). The arc temperature with metal vapor was lower than that with Ar(100%). In addition, the current radius of arc with metal vapor was smaller than that with Ar(100%). Therefore, the radiation power is dominant in Ar(99%)-Fe(1%) and Ar(99%)-Cu(1%).
