要約(日本語): Novel n-type conducting polymer, poly(p-methyl-pyridinium vinylene) were synthesized by using the quarterni-zation of poly(p-pyridyl vinylene) and several regiochemical con-sequences in this polymer were proposed. The electrical, optical, and electrochemical properties of self-doped n-type conductive polymer were observed. In addition, a possibility of a variety of functional applications of n-type conductive polymer having a concept of self-dope was indicated.
