要約(日本語): This paper deals with the numerical simulation in order to calculate the electromagnetic force and pressure affected by changing interval of distance between multiple cathode spots in vacuum arc. It is known that the arc discharge of high current generates multiple cathode spots and diffusion on the electrode surface in vacuum. However, the reason of the diffusion of cathode spots on electrode surface has not been elucidated. Therefore, the 3-D electromagnetic thermal fluid simulation is used in order to calculate the electromagnetic force and pressure contributing to multiple cathode spots movement with changing the interval of distance between three cathode spots. As a result, the repulsive force by the electromagnetic force and pressure acted on outer cathode spots and the compressive force acted on a center cathode spot. Also, pressure was dominant more than the electromagnetic force contributing to the movement of outer cathode spots. Therefore, the repulsive force and compressive force acting on multiple cathode spots was suggested.
