It has been reported that multiple cathode spots in vacuum arc moves on cathode surface at high speed with occurrence and disappearance affected by interaction each other._x000D_ However, these phenomena have not been clarified because the vacuum arc is a complex physical phenomenon._x000D_ Therefore, the movement of multiple cathode spots was analyzed by numerical simulation._x000D_ As a result, the high-temperature gas concentrated over one cathode spot while the other cathode spots disappeared over time variation. Applying transverse magnetic field to vacuum arc, calculation results suggested the positive feedback loop which causes concentration of current derived from the biased high temperature gas.
