要約(英語): The nozzle material is melted and evaporated by the arc when the current is interrupted in the circuit breakers. The current interruption phenomena are transient. Thus, it is necessary to analyze the transient phenomena with the ablation caused by the radiation transfer in order to clarify the actual phenomena of circuit breakers. In this paper, the calculation method for nozzle ablation caused by the radiation transfer using three-dimensional electromagnetic thermal fluid simulation was developed. The ablation gas concentration distribution from the nozzle caused by the radiation was obtained.
