要約(日本語): CVケーブルの気中終端接続部に用いられる、がい管には、FRP製の筒にシリコーンゴムなどを被覆した複合がい管が、その取り扱い性の良さなどの点から適用されつつあり、関西電力では、複合がい管を用いた水平設置型の気中終端接続部を開発し、2001年より運用を開始している。　 今回、新型気中終端接続部の長期性能を評価するため、6年間実運用した設備の経年特性評価を行い、良好な性能を維持していることが確認されたため、その概要を報告する。
