要約(英語): With regard to Nuclear Power Generation, one of the Mega Technologies of today, we sometimes need to decide on safety standards and countermeasures against natural disasters or accidents considering scientific uncertainties, as seen in the case of technologies of evaluating tsunami and its countermeasures against it. This paper mainly discusses who and how the social responsibilities should be borne regarding the implementation of these achievements in science and technology.
