要約(英語): A novel, long wavelength ultrasound irradiation with high permeation (frequency: 30 kHz, power: 2 mW / cm2) was applied for 20 minutes through the frontal and occipital area of the head in healthy adult volunteers. Stressful numerical calculation test and Japanese word test were imposed before and after the ultrasound irradiation. Surface forehead temperature was measured before, after and 30 minutes after the ultrasound irradiation. From the results, we concluded that the ultrasound irradiation enhanced the study and memory effects. These effects may last for 30 minutes after the ultrasound irradiation due to the temperature measurement.
