要約(日本語): ビル等の建築物の監視制御システムの基本機能、アプリケーション機能等は製造ベンダー、エンドユーザ間にての差異が大きく共通化、標準化は困難であった。BACnet通信プロトコルの導入によるオープン化、マルチベンダー化の動向で構成技術は製造ベンダー間の差異が小さくなり共通化、標準化の動向になっている。同様に基本機能、アプリケーション機能等の共通化、標準化を確立しないとマルチベンダー化の監視制御システムは情報を共有したベンダーをまたがる機能の実行は困難である。今回基本機能、アプリケーション機能等の下記に示す機能のオープン化、マルチベンダー化の中でISO化されたBACnetプロトコルの活用による共通化、標準化の実現について報告する。

要約(英語): An ICT oriented BACS（Building automation and Control System）is composed of central work station, sub controllers　and field devices based on the latest ICT. This technical report describes the outline of the basic functions of BACS from the view point of interoperability, monitoring information, control information and standardizing activities by using BACnet communication protocol. The contents of this report are as follows;
