要約(英語): In recent years, rerated to the traction configuration of the Diesel rolling stocks, introduction of the “Electric type” is trends to increase in substitution for the conventional “Hydraulic Type”. Similarly, the hybrid rolling stocks has much introduction of the “Series Type” configuration which on the basis of the “Electric Type”. On the other hand, at the dawn of the diesel rolling stocks, the system configuration was different from the current systems, but the “Electric Type” was tried, and some locomotives were introduced to commercial operation. This paper observes that the transient of the “Electric Type” configuration and the reason of introduction of “Electric Type” to the recent Diesel rolling stocks.
