要約(英語): This paper focuses on analyzing the electric field distribution on a typical stress grading system used in medium voltage rotating machines under a range of frequency from 50Hz to 500kHz. Two analysis models for electrical and thermal problems are developed to take into account the nonlinear relationship between the electric field and the electrical conductivity of Silicon Carbide (SiC) semi-conductive tape. The simulation results give a fundamental view for the operation of the SG system under the high frequency conditions.
