要約(日本語): Cable Constants (CC) code has been used all over the world for more than 40 years since its original version was implemented into EMTP at Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). Recently many new approaches for line and cable parameter calculations are proposed, and those can be an alternative to the CC and even more those can replace the CC. Considering the above trend, this paper summarizes the basic structure, its theory, functions and existing problems, which may be helpful when the CC is replaced by a new computer code. Finally, recent development related to the CC, including a possibility of replacing the CC, is described.
