要約(日本語): This paper investigates the influence of an elbow part of a gas-insulated bus (GIB) on surge propagation in a gas-insulated substation (GIS) based on experiments, calculated results by numerical electromagnetic analysis methods and EMTP. Modeling of the elbow and vertical parts of a GIB for transient simulation by EMTP is explained based on a circuit theory. EMTP results agree reasonably well with the experimental and NEA computed results. Thus, it is concluded that the surge propagation along the GIB elbow in the GIS can be simulated by the EMTP.
