要約(日本語): Radiative heat transfer plays an important role in energy balance of thermal arcs in gas circuit breakers (GCBs) at high current. At high interrupting current, it is well known that the polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) wall of a nozzle in GCBs is ablated and the nozzle is temporarily filled with pure PTFE vapor. The authors performed magnetohydrodynamics analysis of gas-blasted arcs coupled with radiative analysis (that is called P1 approximation) to calculate radiative heat transfer under PTFE-100% environment. In this presentation, numerical results regarding radiative properties of pure PTFE thermal arcs in GCBs will be reported.
