要約(日本語): In the arc welding, it is necessary to uniform heat transfer in the narrow width because the ununiform weld pool causes the welding defects.The electromagnetic force derived from the arc current and rotating transverse magnetic field (RTMF) is focused on control of the arc at the center quickly.It has been reported that the arc deflection length decreases with increasing the frequency of RTMF.The high-speed measurement of heat transfer is difficult using the high frequency of RTMF.Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the arc using 3-D electromagnetic thermal fluid simulation (EMTF) because the temperature distribution is asymmetric such as the arc deflection.In this paper, the arc behavior affected by the rotating transverse magnetic field for the heat transfer improvement was calculated by using the 3-D EMTF simulation. The heat transfer from the arc to the anode was calculated by using the EMTF simulation.
