要約(日本語): This paper investigates basic characteristics of steady-state AC induced voltages to an overhead conductor from a nearby conductor based on a circuit theory, EMTP and experiment. When both ends of the induced conductor are open-circuited, the inductive induced voltage at one end is in opposite polarity to that at the other end, and thus there exists “zero-potential” position along the induced conductor as predicted by the circuit theory and confirmed by EMTP. When the resistances at both ends are the same, the conductor center becomes the zero-potential position. The capacitive induced voltage is the same along the open-circuited induced conductor. When one end of the induced conductor is grounded, no capacitive induced voltage appears. A measured voltage on the induced conductor is composed of the inductive and capacitive induced voltages of which the phase angles are different. It was not easy to obtain an accurate measured result in the experimental circuit with a short-length conductor, small inducing current and noises in the grounding circuit, i.e. no ideal voltage reference for the measurement.
