要約(日本語): 肌領域抽出はコンピュータビジョンにおいて広い分野への応用が考えられる。特に上肢検出に関しては、ジェスチャ推定や手話認識への応用が期待できる。既存の顔検出手法により得られる顔領域の色情報には背景の色が含まれるため、そのまま肌領域抽出に用いることは効果的ではない。そこで本研究では、より効果的な肌領域抽出が可能となる、顔領域の色情報の利用方法について検討する。実験を行い有効性を検証する。

要約(英語): The skin segmentation is widely applicable to computer vision technology, such as the upper limb detection, gesture recognition, sign language recognition. Since the face region detected by existing face detector often contains background color information, it is ineffective to use the face color information directly. For this reason, we consider a usage of the face region that is effective for skin segmentation. we show the effectiveness from evaluation experiment.
