要約(英語): Our world deeply depends on positioning infrastructures consisted of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), and indoor positioning systems. Thus, the positioning infrastructures are required accuracy, stability, continuity, reliability, and safety for various geospatial services in various fields, such as urban, logistics, e-business, construction, amusement and sports. In this paper, we describe technical issues in the indoor-outdoor seamless positioning. First, we summarize fundamental technologies for the indoor-outdoor seamless positioning, such as GNSS, indoor positioning systems, mapping, navigation, geofencing, and timing. Second, we summarize indoor-outdoor seamless positioning services and experiments in recent years. Third, we summarize technical issues in various fields. Through our discussions, we describe our future works.
