要約(日本語): ２つのコイルを近接して配置すると、相互誘導作用によりコイル間には相互インダクタンスが存在する。このとき、コイル形状のいかんに関わらず相互インダクタンスの大きさが計算により予測できれば大変便利である。そこで、ノイマンの公式を用いて、互いにコイル軸が垂直な場合の任意形状コイルについて相互インダクタンスの計算式を導出した。さらに、それを多層方形コイルの場合に適用して実験を行い理論の妥当性を確認している。
