The time of voiding and the urination volume are recorded by handwriting in the voiding diary, and the doctor judges the validity of the voiding diary at the interview with patients and carries out the diagnosis and urination management. Many residual urine instruments currently in use can measure intravesical urine volume at regular time intervals, but urination cannot be detected automatically. Therefore, we propose a method to automatically detect urination from the measurement value of the residual urine instrument with the aim of guiding the patient in the direction of self-reliance urination.
