要約(日本語): Recently, information system plays a important role of a social-infrastructure, therefore high dependability is required especiallyin mission critical information systems. This talk focuses on design method of dependable information system based onstructural/hierarchical formalism of composite states of system objects which represents functional specification of nondisruptive serviceand operation of the system. This talk also touches Total High Performance analysis which is a performance-related reliability evaluationof degradable systems during nondisruptive system recovery. An example of dependable storage system design is also illustrated.
