要約(日本語): Computer Vision is completely a new science for persons and widely used in a lot of research areas which has played an important role in our life. Intelligent Transportation System is one of the most important parts for keeping traffic smooth and secure, and reducing the fuel consumption. The applications of Computer Vision for ITS is an important research area of traffic science, which will improve the effect and efficiency of the traffic system and make the system more intelligent. In this paper, Computer Vision is introduced to ITS which will be very helpful for the analysis and understanding of images or videos taken by cameras. The theories of image rectification based on single image and two or multiple images in Computer Vision are discussed. The examples in our life such as plate number recognition, traffic monitoring and even driverless car have proved the feasibility of the applications of Computer Vision for ITS.
