要約(日本語): This paper proposes a systematic approach to maximize deduplication ratio in the complex system which are in-stalled plural heterogeneous deduplication methods. The approach determine the assignment of target backup data fordeduplication methods implemented in the system so that total deduplication ratio is maximized under the predeter-mined operational limitations, i.e. backup window, resource tolerance, performance and so on. This paper shows thisassignment problem is formalized in integer programming. Effectiveness of the approach is evaluated by simulation.
