要約(日本語): Accompanied with the growing number of available web information, web users may have to face a great number of searching results. Nowadays, how to make the web searching more concentrated on individual users’ specific need is becoming the hot pot in the web information retrieval (IR) field. Many efforts have been done to seek for the satisfactory solution, and the efforts keep going all the time. Google, as the most popular search engine in the world, released a kind of searching service named Google Custom Search Engine (CSE) to enable web users to make their searching behavior more personalized. In this paper, we focus on the Google CSE and make a full description about what it is and how to use it. Meanwhile, there are 15 participants recruited in our research to do the evaluation for the Google CSE usability. The evaluation results show that Custom Search Engine will definitely have a good prospect in the future.
