要約(日本語): 先行研究では、インターチェンジ毎の情報提供が有効であることがわかっている。本稿では、高速道路の分岐地点間ので発生する交通事象を回避するための情報提供について、適切な位置・タイミングを考察した。検証から、発生した事象の注意喚起により、事象に起因して発生する事故を防ぐためには、少なくとも事象の発生地点から4.17kmまでの範囲で情報提供を1回は行うことが必要条件となる。事象自体の回避だけではなく、二次的な影響を避けるためには、4.17km付近で提供すべきだと考えられる。

要約(英語): The effectiveness of providing information by the variable message sign, which was installed each interchange on the expressways was showed with previous studies. In this paper, we discussed the appropriate position and timing about the provision of information for personal devices to avoid the traffic events that occurs between the interchange. We considered that it is the necessary condition to indicate information at least once, within a distance of 4.17km from a traffic event point, to prevent the accidents. Also, we suggested that it is desirable to close to 4.17km point to avoid secondary effects of an event.
