要約(日本語): The electric vehicle technology has come as an environment friendly alternative to oil-fueled vehicles. However, it suffers from shorter running length and lower embedded energy density compared to its counterpart. Improvements in battery technology and motor/drive efficiency are ways to tackle this problem. In particular, it has been demonstrated that amorphous magnetic material can sensibly decrease the iron losses of electrical motors. In this paper, it is proposed to investigate the possible running length improvement brought by electrical motors with amorphous magnetic materials.
