要約(日本語): 電磁界解析結果を可視化することで物理現象を把握しやすくなるが、可視化された解析結果を比較する場合には複数の画像を見比べる必要があり、微小な変化を見つけることが困難である。そこで、我々はボリュームディスプレイを作製し、複数の可視化された解析結果を重ねて表示し、比較を行った。これにより、解析結果の比較に対するボリュームディスプレイの有用性を調査し、電磁界解析結果表示に有用なツールを作製することを目的としている。

要約(英語): The techniques for visualizing numerical data have widely been used. With visualizing of electromagnetic field analysis, it is easy to grasp the physical phenomenon. However, when a few visualized images are compared, it is difficult to find small differences. Therefore, a volumetric display based on a stack of semi-transmissive liquid crystal displays is applied to represent a few of images simultaneously. The purpose of this research is to investigate the usability of volumetric display to compare the images of analysis results and to make the volumetric display as a useful tool in visualization of electromagnetic field analysis.
