要約(日本語): Dissociated neurons form a network depending on their electrical activity and spontaneous activity frequently observed within a week. We cultured a network of dissociated neurons on a culture dish with 64 planeer microelectrodes. The long-lasting synaptic potentiation was induced by 20 minutes Mg2+-free condition and changes of the spontaneous electrical activity was analyzed before and after the induction of synaptic potentiation. The periodicity of a spontaneous activity was estimated by the criteria of concentration rate around the peak of the autocorrelation function of the neuronal electrical activity. After the induction of the potentiation, the periodicity of spontaneous activity enhanced. Periodicity rose immediately after the induction of the potentiation (121.7±7.0% compared with periodicity before the potentiation). The increase of periodicity decreased to 99.4±0.7% within a day and slightly recovered to100.5±10.7% at 3 days after the induction of synaptic potential. It suggests that the acute effof synaptic enhancement attenuates within about a day though periodicity recoverd after that.
