要約(日本語): We classically conditioned rats in aversive or appetitive manner. Then, we recorded local field potentials (LFPs) and calculated the phase locking value (PLV) while we presented the conditioned stimulus (CS) continuously. Consequently, PLV increase for CS was larger in the aversive conditioned rats than in the appetitive conditioned rats. This result indicates that the robustness of auditory cortex represents the sound-associated fear.
