要約(日本語): 5焼結設備の主幹PLCは1988年の稼動から25年が経過しており、改造容量不足、保守中止かつ予備品枯渇の状態であった為、更新を行った。更新にあたっては、操作性・保守性に優れたシステムの構築に加えて、同時期に行った装入設備の改造にも対応した。本論文では、この更新工事の計画及び立上げ状況について報告する。
